FRIXA / JACK MITCHELL RACING TEAM

Driving force behind new brake system..

 Kent Structural were contracted to develop and design the new heating transfer manifold duct for Jack Mitchell racing team's  braking system on its series of Ford Fiesta ST Racing cars. 

ABOUT THE DESIGN
The design was to form an important strategy to improve the heat transfer of the braking system. The requirements meant it was highly complicated as there were many obstructions preventing the duct from being fabricated by standard fabrication and manufacturing processes.

The final design was based on carbon fibre technology and additive processing in order to achieve the desired results.

The design is still being developed and tested in order to be successfully implemented into the racing cars, by the regulatary bodies of the racing circuit.
